Scientific and Technical Services

The Scientific and Technical Services (SCT) coordinate and manage the UPC's research infrastructures to ensure their efficiency and sustainability. With an offering of 91 registered units and more than 1,300 specialised services, they act as a link between research groups and central services through a centralised digital platform that facilitates access to them. The unit provides technical and strategic support to enhance the quality and visibility of research activity. Likewise, the SCT participate in key initiatives such as the UNITE! alliance, the RIS3CAT project or European competence centres, strengthening the international projection of the university's research.
