Objectives

  1. To promote knowledge of surface optimisation of OsteoSinter implants and intrabone prosthetic materials, to help surgical staff and prosthetists provide definitive solutions for patients with prostheses.
  2. To disseminate and bring new technologies closer to surgical staff and prosthetists to facilitate their work and improve the quality of results.
  3. To foster innovation in the field of biomaterials, especially implants and prostheses, and improve their properties to ensure the good performance of these materials in the short and long term.
  4. To bring industry and the University closer so that they can work together and train future professionals in the field of biomaterials.
  5. To monitor, quality control and improve OsteoSinter material.

Impact

  • Teaching activities: Management and preparation of content to be included in future training courses for AMES company specialists.
  • Research and transfer activities, publication of articles, seminars and conferences.

    - Preparation, presentation and award of the State Research Agency research project “FIRe Bone, Functionalized Inserts Reticular Bone”.
