Objectives

  1. To promote knowledge of surface optimisation of dental implants and prosthetic materials to provide definitive solutions.
  2. To disseminate and bring new technologies closer to surgical staff and prosthetists to facilitate their work and improve the quality of results.
  3. To promote innovation in the field of biomaterials, especially dental implants, and improve their properties.
  4. To bring industry and the University closer so that they can work together and train future professionals in the field of biomaterials.
  5. To monitor, quality control and improve the Contac-Ti surface of Klockner implants.

  • Impact

    - Teaching activities.

    - Advice to the company on how to adapt all aspects of the programme to the new requirements of the Foundation for the accreditation of master's degrees: teaching staff, introduction of a master's thesis, use of the UPC image, etc.

    - Research and transfer activities (this includes theses and dissertations).

    - Publication of articles.

    - Seminars and conferences.
