Promotion and support for R&D
The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya offers exclusive lines of support to promote and facilitate the research activity of its research staff. From calls for funding aimed at the general activity of research groups, up to grants for specific activities such as the organization of conferences, participation in research networks or consortia or the publication and editing of open access articles. In addition, it also offers direct aid to the research career through pre-doctoral contracts and aid for lecturers.
Transfer, entrepreneurship and innovation support and promotion
The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) offers help lines aimed at boosting transfer, entrepreneurship and innovation activity. From growing start-up companies, recognizing the entrepreneurial talent of students or protecting and exploiting new technologies, to accompanying research staff in the stages of the technological maturation process or promoting participation in high-level strategic networks and consortia. All folded supported by a unique quality system of applied research.
