Unite! Research School 2026

From 11 to 15 May 2026, more than 200 master’s students, PhD candidates, researchers, professors, and administrative staff will gather with industry representatives to take part in interactive sessions and lectures within the third edition of the Unite! Research School 2026.

The event is organised by the Politecnico di Torino and will open and close at the university’s main campus, while the main training activities will take place at the Santuario di Oropa.

Thematic pillars

This year’s edition focuses on three major strategic areas:

1. Digital transition: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Industry 4.0
2. Energy transition: sustainable energy, smart cities, water management
3. Enabling technologies: space technologies, biological engineering

The Unite! Research School 2026 combines scientific excellence and professional development through lectures by international experts, transferable skills courses, networking sessions, a forum with leading companies, visits to research centres and industrial facilities, and team-based case studies. It also features strong involvement from industry partners, who actively participate through keynote talks, panel discussions, and visits, offering participants a direct insight into real-world challenges in engineering and innovation.
