Objectives
To promote knowledge among students regarding digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0, which includes elements such as additive manufacturing (3D printing) and large format printing for the textile industry, and to promote all kinds of actions to improve its dissemination.
Impact
- Activities for training and detecting talent:
- The ETSETB subject Advanced Engineering Project.
- The ESEIAAT subjects Critical Thinking for 3D Printing, Agile Methodologies and Processes for Innovative Solutions and Practical Design of Goods and Equipment.
- Creation of the HP Award for the best academic record or master's thesis, HP Award for the best academic record at the CFIS and HP Award for the best academic record at the ESEIAAT.
- Actions for talent recruitment and forums.
- Creation of 4 scholarships for the best students on the bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Engineering at the ETSEIB.
- Sponsorship of HackUPC talent recruitment event at the FIB.
- R+D+I:
- Additive manufacturing training for teaching and research staff to explore the limits of the technology.
- Grants to cover the printing of pieces.
- Knowledge dissemination activities:
Annual technical conference to disseminate the proposed applications and specific publication of the content.
