Participation in PID2023 (AEI)

The AEI has published on its website a new forecast calendar for calls. According to this calendar, the deadline for applications for the "Knowledge Generation Projects" call is from January 9 to 30, 2024.

Considerations:

• Historically, the call has a participation requirement for both PIs and members of the research team who have a commitment during the project's execution period.
• Projects can have a duration of 3 or 4 years.
• In the last call PID2022, the start date was 09/01/2023. Therefore, we can anticipate that the start date of PID2023 will be 09/01/2024.

This information, however, is provisional and will be finalized when the call is published.

Taking all this into account, to participate in the next call as a PI or member of the research team, your employment commitment should be guaranteed until 08/31/2027 (for 3-year projects) or 08/31/2028 (for 4-year projects).

If you have any doubts about the participation of any of the members, please contact the national project management staff of your USR as soon as possible to assess the feasibility of their participation and carry out necessary procedures.
