We recieve a delegation from Connect Bogotá

The key organisation in Colombia's innovation ecosystem has visited UPC with the aim of exploring potential collaborations in the field of R&D.

Last Tuesday, 10th September, a delegation from Connect Bogotá, a key organisation in Colombia's innovation ecosystem, visited the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with the aim of exploring potential collaborations in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. 

During the day, the members of the delegation had the opportunity to learn about the Research and Innovation Support Service, the Connèxia Programme, and the Innovation Management Service. The visit concluded with a tour of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), where the visitors saw first-hand the cutting-edge technology being developed in the field of supercomputing.

With this visit, the UPC strengthens its role as a key player in the development of international collaborations in innovation, particularly through the  Research and Innovation Support Service, which continues to work on building bridges between the university and the business world.

The delegation included a total of 26 representatives from Colombian companies and universities. From the UPC, participants included Prof. Climent Molins, Vice-Rector for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Mr. Jordi Martin Guart, Director of the Connèxia UPC Programme and member of the UPC Innovation and Technology Centre - CIT UPC; Ms. Laura Tuduri, representative of the Research and Innovation Support Service; Ms. Mathilde Cadene, technician of the valorisation and transfer unit at the Innovation Management Service; Ms. Ximena Silva, entrepreneurship technician at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation unit of the Innovation Management Service; and Ms. María Eugenia López, from the International Relations Office.
