Cluster 5: Climate, energy and mobility

Subprogram overview

Within Pillar II, Cluster 5 aims for a just transition towards a climatically neutral and resource-efficient economy. It is divided into three research areas: climate, energy, and mobility. Resource efficiency and mitigation and adaptation to climate change are cross-cutting objectives present in all three areas. A large number of European Partnerships  are dedicated to specific aspects of the cluster. Notable examples include Joint Undertaking JU Clean Hydrogen, EU-Rail JU, JU Clean Aviation and JU SESAR (Air Traffic Management). 

For transnational calls we can find the EP for Clean Energy Transition and the EP Driving Urban Transition to a Sustainable Future.
