Criboos Tech is a spin-off from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia specialising in the digital health and ophthalmology sectors. Its main activity focuses on the development and commercialisation of low-cost digital medical technologies designed for the early detection and clinical monitoring of visual function. Through the digitalisation of CE-marked visual tests, the company aims to optimise prevention and facilitate the remote monitoring of progressive pathologies affecting eyesight. To this end, the organisation works closely with medical professionals, opticians and community centres to better connect patients with their reference ophthalmologists.
Product
The company offers a digital platform featuring a complete battery of clinically validated tests, structured into two technological solutions adapted to different environments. On the one hand, it provides Criboos Track, a tele-ophthalmology medical device that enables specialists to carry out remote and longitudinal patient monitoring from home through trend alerts. On the other hand, it markets Criboos Prevent, a fast and accessible screening tool aimed at pharmacies, opticians and primary care centres that accelerates the referral of at-risk cases to medical consultation.
