Call Characteristics

• Beneficiaries: Led by 1 PI, Spanish nationality or residing in Spain (see requirements), with a Ph.D. title, with affiliation to the University throughout the project's execution. Participation in 1 single project. Research team: researchers affiliated with other institutions and research centers from any country. Public agency personnel may also participate. The adequacy of the team will be assessed. Participation in 1 single project.

  • Water cycle in Spain, uses and management.
  • Conservation of critical ecosystems in Spain
  • Values, regulation, and applications of AI.
  • Digitalization and mobile devices in education
  • Educational models and outcomes
  • Youth: employability, access to housing, and interpersonal relationships
  • Gender-based violence: comparative analysis
  • Democracy and Rule of Law in Europe
• Grant Amount: Up to 3 M€
• Eligible Expenses: Direct costs (personnel, travel, goods and services, subcontracting, equipment), and indirect costs (10% of direct costs)
• Execution Period: Maximum 24 months, from the acceptance date, before 09/30/2024.
• Budget and Eligible Concepts: No limitations on expense types or amounts. Each concept must be adequately justified.
  • In any case, the UPC overhead must be included, 21% of the direct costs of the budget.
  • For the UPC, VAT is deductible, it does not need to be included in the requested grant budget.

Submission of Applications

• When: Until 04/30/2024, 12 pm. Internal deadline: 04/24/2024
• Who: The PI.
• How: Through the web application of the call.
• What: Proposal (free format) + CV (max 5 pages) of all participants + PI ID + acceptance of rules and data treatment (PI and EI) + RL acceptance (ask the technical staff of national projects).
